Celebrating 25 Years of the NSW BJJ Federation
Since its founding in 2001, the NSW Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation has grown from a small community of passionate martial artists into one of the most dynamic and respected BJJ organisations in New South Wales. Over the past 25 years, the Federation has nurtured athletes of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels, producing a remarkable range of champions, competitors, and role models who have made their mark both on and off the mats.
From humble beginnings to hosting some of the largest, most prestigious competitions in the state, NSW BJJF has always been about more than just sport—it’s about community, dedication, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. Whether you are a white belt stepping onto the mat for the first time, a seasoned black belt chasing titles, or a young competitor dreaming big, the Federation has created a space where everyone can thrive.
This 25-year milestone is a celebration of the athletes, families, coaches, and supporters who have made NSW BJJF what it is today—a vibrant, inclusive, and competitive BJJ community that continues to inspire the next generation of champions.
